It's easy to feel like making a change or improvement in your life can be a very daunting task. We're creatures of habit, so that can seem scary. However, we don't actually need to make drastic changes to see improvements. You may have heard the phrase "Small changes lead to big results."That's exactly what you should focus on to make things simple! Try these five easy habits that will improve your week:
1. Plan out your goals or to-do list at the beginning of each week.
Even if you're not the pink cutesy $50 planner type of gal, writing something down on a post-it note or creating a mental checklist of what you want to accomplish can really help to keep you on track!
2. No phones an hour before bed.
Yes, we get it...this one is hard. But we promise what Suzy is doing on Instagram is not more important than you getting quality sleep. And all the blue light isn't helping either!
3. Wake up 20 minutes earlier.
Allowing time for yourself in the morning is crucial to getting in the right headspace for the day. Hitting snooze on your alarm can actually make you feel more lousy anyway by messing with your sleep cycle!
4. Drink more water.
And when you think you've had enough, have another glass. Try keeping a glass right by your bedside to hydrate you first thing and help wake you up. Add lemon for some extra hydration and health benefits!
5. Meal prep.
While meal prepping might not sound like the most fun Sunday evening activity for all, it will save you so much time in the long run...and probably money too! Not to mention, you will more likely eat healthier and feel much better during the rest of the week!
What's one habit you will work on this week?
